I am so amazed that some people don't believe in God. How can anyone go outside and look up at the clouds, or at the trees that change with the seasons, the animals, two people in love, a baby, the sunrise or sunset, a deer playing with her baby, birds that are so amazing and build nests and fly south for the winter and not believe that there is a creator that put all of this into order? It seems like it would take more faith to not believe than it does to believe since the evidence is so clear. It is to me anyway. Just a question I came up with while I was driving home and enjoying creation. How can this be that some don't believe?

because some people can look at all these beautiful wonderful things and find another rational explaination for them
they arent wrong to do so ... it is just hard to understand when you believe in God so strongly how anyone else can think differently
again you arent wrong to think this ... but try and understand that other people think differently xxx

Umm.. ok, I think I see how this game is played. You list a random pleasurable activity, and then ask why people don't believe the same things you do. All right, let me try. Eat a cookie, now how can you believe in god? That was good, right? Seems just as logical to me, anyway.

Edit: Truly mind-boggling. Here's your word of the day:

Compulsion:

1. Repetitive behaviors or mental acts that the person feels driven to perform in response to an obsession, or according to rules that must be applied rigidly.
2. The behaviors or mental acts are aimed at preventing or reducing distress or preventing some dreaded event or situation; however, these behaviors or mental acts either are not connected in a realistic way with what they are designed to neutralize or prevent or are clearly excessive.

It's a serious mental disorder. You should seek help. Really, I'm concerned.

"beauty lies in the eyes of beholder" The simple joys of life that you appreciate have other explanations from various people like scientists. God is simply a faith, an explanation your mind and heart generate for everything you probably can't explain. No offence, perfectly fine approach. I m an athiest in a way myself. But i do bliev that something or someone or someway things will be taken care of, by god or the Creator or something else.

I don't believe it was a choice for me. You may imagine that to me, is is astounding that someone can believe in such a thing as a god. I look up at the sky and decide when it will rain, and such thoughts that you think never do float through. I have never believed in a god, and I don't really believe that such a belief is necessary or even good. I believe in morality and doing good upon others, and I am intelligent enough to follow my own path regarding my beliefs, and I see that as being better for me than blindly following a bronze age belief. I mean no insult, I just can't understand why you would believe something I cannot fathom.

While almost all people, when questioned, will admit to believing in a first cause or Creator, they have a problem with believing in an individual God who looks after them personally.

The world is pretty amazing, isn't it? More amazing still when you don't ascribe it's existence to an uber-being in the sky who spoke it all magically in to being. How did it all get here? It's a mystery, and a mind-breaking one at that.

In order for Gods love and punishment to be fair and unbiased, he gave us the bible, which is His word, and choice.

With choice in our hands, God's perfection and righteousness remains, as He cannot take sides, but rather judges and rewards based on our actions.

God Bless you ( I see He has ) and I hope your infectious joy leads people around you to Christ.

Thanks.

I've been trying to find that out myself. I have very good friends that are Atheists.
My wonderment seems to baffle them as their non- belief baffles me.
We have come to the conclusion together "we just do".

God so loves His children, that He purposely blinded them to the truth. Why? No sin in ignorance.
