You dont really need to go anywhere, you need some witnesses but I think it is better to make it official by going to the nearest mosque. They will help you there.

Well, you can take it anywhere... you need witnesses though, they have to be muslim. 2 men or 1 man and 2 women. if you know muslim ppl, you can ask them to witness it or if you don't really know anyone, you can go to your local mosque. there'll be ppl there.
