You can get every type of meal you could dream off in Charlotte Street which is just behind Tottenham Court Road going toward Goodge Street. The whole street is near enough restaurants!

Soho Restaurants
Zilli Fish, Brewer Street - as the title gives away its Fish
Soho Spice, Wardour Street - Indian cuisine
Ping Pong, Great Marlborough Street - Dim Sum
Gay Hassar, Greek Street - Hungarian

There is a Burger King at the corner near Oxford Street - near the theatre. Seriously though there are some good Steak restaurants in and around nearby Leicester Square.

Can I suggest Spiga. It is an Italian and the address is 84-86 Wardour Street, Soho, W1F 3LF.
It is in the heart of Soho, the food is good and it is pretty stylish too

Chez Gerard on Dean Street in Soho is fantastic. It's a small little cozy restaurant that does modern English/Italian food. They have a very good value pre-theatre menu. I think two courses for £7.99.

Malabar Junction in Great Russell Street is a superb southern Indian restaurant. I don't often eat out in the west end but it's usually here when I do.

The Pizza Express in Coptic Street by British Museum is very good too.

Any of the restaurants in Charlotte Street. Pied a Terre is the very best (2 michelin stars), but take a loaded credit card. Passione is good too.
