I'm sorry. I realized this has been asked before. It's so hard to approach it in another way. I always thought some guys liked me, when it wasn't right, when I tried to ask them out.

It can vary a lot between guy to guy. Some guys will pay a lot of attention to you and make it obvious. Others will try to pay attention to you but might be afraid to make eye contact or look uncomfortable. If you really want to find out, the best thing to do is to talk to the guy's close friends. They will almost always know who he likes. If they don't exactly tell you you should still be able to find any signals they might show. If they take a while to respond then it probably means yes.

If a guy likes you, he will generally talk to you, be friendly and smile at you a lot. Not ignore you! Call you just to see how you day went. Send you flowers for no reason at all! Be nice and respect you and your feelings! As far as you asking a guy out -- I do not feel that is wrong. Some guys are shy, so if you think a guy likes you, but will not make the first move, then ask him out -- the worst he can do is say no! GOOD LUCK!

You find he is constantly showing up at the areas you go to. He seems to want to talk to you, and is very interested in what you have to say. He wants to know about you. He lets you know when you and he share similar interests.
Besides this, I guess the best thing I can tell you is observe how he interacts with you, and use your gut instinct as the final judge. Contrary to what some of you women may believe, not all of guys operate in the same fashion.

There is no 100% sure way to tell unless you ask or they tell you. If they are more outgoing they will make excusses to talk to you and gradually pay more attention to you. If they are really shy they will look at you and turn away quickly, but might find it really hard to talk to you.
