It is a poem by Marianne Williamson
"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?
Actually who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small doesn't serve the world.
There's nothing enlightening about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine, as children do.
We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.
It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others"
OK.. do you like it?

There are several possibilities for this. One simple way is to search the main line of the poem into a search engine like 'Google' or 'Yahoo'. Another way is to type out the poem on 'Yahoo Answers' and ask if anyone can recognise it. This has a high chance of succsess since this is a very famous quote and poem. The third possibility is to look up the poem in book of poems. Most poetry books have a section at the back with all the poems' first lines. If I were you I would look for late 19th and early 20th poetry books. I hope this answer was helpful and concise.

you can try typing it in on google and the poem itself will probably come up with the author and the title. You can always go to a poem website and email the site owner and ask them if they have seen the poem before.
