Blackberry Reconciliation from handheld to pc?

I made a number of changes to my inbox while I was travelling but none of these have been replicated on my pc, I have tried getting the handheld to "reconcile now" but it only brings in new messages.

programing chages are different than transfering infomation. reformate you inbox then download your information.
