Regarding in US; Yes it's illegal and I believe all of them should seek citizenship,respectfully. Respecfully, if you don't speak the language of the Country please learn it quickly, just as the American's do when going to other countries.

My parent & grandpartents came to the US, fought hard to get here, immediately learned the language, earned citizenship status and as early as possible joined the military to serve in this great Country.

If this is the country you fought to be in, fight for her, honor her and raise her flag, respect the laws and seek citizenship. We welcome all who seek citizenship and honor this country by coming in the front door legally.

I am proud of my family who set examples of the highest integrity, showing honor that provides for our family, protects us, welcomed us legally. A land our family served in military and honor today.

Lets see where do i start. Oh OK, well I'm in college and just about to finish i did well and school and hope to become a paramedic. Saying this illegal immigration has no effect on me.
1. If a man is willing to break his back to cross the border with his family for a better life and knowing he has no money to pay for it legally just to get denied later on then i don't care.
2. If that man comes illegally just to work his *** off in order to feed his children, what does that say about his life in Mexico.
3. If he was a white English speaking person, then no one would have a problem with it. And if so, where is the wall in Canada? Isn't that where the hijackers of 9/11 came from.
Illegal immigration has nothing to do with terrorism, they just don't want this country to learn a new language. Oh yeah for those who talk about they are stealing jobs. That is why they say listen in school and do a good job. You don't do it and then you are working at McDonald's or in a field and wonder, how did a Latino steal my job. Because he works less then minimum wage asshole.

If they are already here and have been and can prove they have been paying taxes even under a false social security number and have never gotten into trouble and are productive members or society who have assimilated into our culture they should be given citizenship.
We can't just keep taking on the problems of other countries, it will be our own downfall one day. Alot of illegal immigrants are good hardworking people.Its only the problematic ones that make the news because that provides greater shock value.
If you come to this country illegally you should be deported if you are caught immediately, that wont solve the problem however. People will always want to come to America because they still view it as a country where anything is possible and alot of the times it is. Instead of concentrating on getting rid of illegals, they should concentrate on the companies who hire and exploit illegals.

There is a reason why these people are so desperate for a better life. Don't close the door to everyone! If the person does not have a criminal background, just let him/her find a better life and enjoy better opportunities.

Besides, your pilgrim ancestors were desperate too, running away from an oppressive king. They came to this land with the hope and faith that their lives would be better. This became a dreamland, a site to appease those seeking refuge.

Why the hell do you people turn it into hateland? I support those illegal immigrants wanting to better themselves 100%, become citizens of the US, or legalize their status, and hope we can all serve each other's needs on the planet.

The US should limit the number of immigrants allowed annually, but we should try to offer money and reserves to needy countries. It would be bad for us to ignore poverty worldwide, but at the rate that immigrants are coming into our country, it could end up severely straining US resources. Not to mention that if educated immigrants keep leaving their countries for the States, then those countries will never get the help those people could offer. We need hard-working foreigners to try to improve their own countries, because the U.S and our allied countries are trying to help poor states, but we can't do all of the work for them.

Added weight to an already broken system. It's stupid for people to assume that we're doing them any favors by letting them over here. Republicans like the cheap labor for big corporations, Democrats like the extra votes, and the ignorant pro-illegal demonstrators have an inability to view the issue realistically. There should be immigration reform, but ppl. forget it's mostly rich, business owners who hire illegals from all over, and that's who the Republican party mostly caters to. Yeah, they "politicians" might say they hate illegal immigration. But once their elected who are they going to cater to??? Way to go Ashley N I agreed with you and will like to add that they come to the U.S to perform many tasks that a lot of morons that are against them do not perform. For those that have paperwork already pending, they should be allowed to stay here in the u.s. with their families and not be separated for 6-12 months. Yes what they did was illegal, but they are paying their fines, paying taxes just like you and me. their spouses and kids should not have to suffer like they do.

Illegals need to be deported, everyone of them...... no Achor babies get citizenship. Both parents have to citizens or legals before citizen to the babies are granted. Put up a wall and back it with the militarty with live ammo. take no crap from illegals or Mexico and protect our country NOW................No two ways about it.
