Here is a Petfinder.com list of available yorkies in California shelters. You can go to the site and narrow the search for specific gender, size, color, location, etc. Good luck. Let us know what you find!

I have two full blooded german shepherd dogs which I rescued and they are sooooo lovable. I'm so glad I found them.

If you want a healthy puppy, stay away from back yard breeders and pet stores, probably from newspaper ads too. I would find the next local dog show (you can find them on the AKC website), go there and talk to the people showing their Yorkies. They will most likely have puppies available, know people with puppies, or put you on a waiting list to get one.

They're in all of the pet stores now. Westfeild off of I-78 at jeffeson and the one in Escondido off of the I-15.
