A warm bowl of homemade veggie beef soup and a slice of homemade buttered bread fresh from the oven.
Why is it my favorite comfort food? It's satisfying, delicious and brings back wonderful memories of my Mom. She was a fantastic cook and she could always make cold dreary days something to actually look forward to. Lots of good memories surface when I cook this meal and although she's not here with me anymore, I can almost see her smiling approvingly as I serve it to my loved ones.

My comfort food is also cheese. I will generally eat a toasted cheese sandwich or macaroni and cheese. Heck, I have put cheese on mashed potatoes and of course on hamburgers and chicken patties that I have made into sandwiches. One of my favourites that has been banned from my diet is spaghetti with chili and LOTS of cheese!

Crispy hashbrowns with eggs on top. Add some ketchup, salt and pepper with a little bit of hot sauce. Mix it all together and then eat it.
I don't know where I got that from but I love it. I makes me feel all warm and happy.

My comfort food is cheese. Cheddar cheese, jack cheese, colby, emmentaler, what ever. Love the stuff. I look like I love cheese!
(But I don't really care for mac & cheese)

a peanut butter sandwich on cooked (toasted) bread. It is what I always liked as a kid for lunch. I have a cold today and it is what I had for lunch to make me feel better.

i would have to say a friend of mines chicken enchilada soup on a cold cold day with lots of mozz. cheese sprinkleled on top, maybe a dollop of sour cream.

Mashed Potatoes and gravy - because they are creamy and remind me of Thanksgiving Dinner as a child.

my daughters is mash potatoes. I like anything hot with cold sour cream
