I don't think so, I'm a junior in HS and many of my friends, including myself still wear them. So yeah, I think they are for all ages.

No, everyone wears ponytails.. It's not the cutest hair style, but young girls and older girls wear it.

I was watching a morning show a few weeks ( Us today or something) ago and no - pony tails are very cool for all ages right now.
There are various ways of wearing them too..... puffy on top, high, low, hair parted to one side and so on.
So go for it if that is why you asked.
Of course the gals with long hair here in Barabdos have not waited for it to be cool.... they wear their hair up off thier neck any way they can!!!
I just keep mine short:0)

I'm almost 35 and I wear a ponytail. I part my hair to one side, use a "rubberband" in a dark color to match my hair, wrap a strand around that, and I'm good to go!

No!! Not at all, actually. But, one should stop wearing ponytails once they get in their really old ages, like 56 or older. (once they start getting short, corse, gray hair.)

NO. ITS JUST THEY WAY THEY DO IT MAKES IT 4 YOUNG GIRLS. IF THE PONY TAIL IS LOWER, THEN THATS THE YOUNGER STYLE, HIGHER UP ON THE HEAD, MEANS ITS FOR TEENAGERS AND YOUNG ADULTS.
THE NEXT TIME YOU GO OUT, PAY ATTENTION TO THOSE DETAILS. YOU WILL SEE HOW RIGHT I AM :p
