Then start with a playful but innocent touch, while doing something totally non sexual such as watching a DVD or playing cards. Gradually escalate to more of teasing and sexual touch then back off a little bit, think two steps forward one step back. unfortunatly this is one of those things that are just dificult to do.

my advice would be to go out for dinner or something then just casually bring it up, ask himsomethingsubtle like, whathe thinks about sex? usually by the answer he gives u could tell weather or not he is ready.

if he looks surprised and uneasy and tries to avoid the topic then you know he is not ready.

but if he is confident in his answer then he probably is.

the wait, wait till the momentof passion where u are both really going at it and coax it, make bodly gestions suggesting u want sex or if you know things will get heated, then beforethey do leave a condom in veiw of where you'll be making out so he can see it while make out, and maybe hell ask you. do it subtly or else you might scare him.

you could try being risky and just come out and say listen i wouldnt mindhaving sex with you i feal im ready and i would like to know if you are ready.
this is risky cause if hes is not then he might get spooked, and then your relationship could get worse.
but on the other hand he could just come out and say ok.

but if you two have decided that you are then u must first both fully understand the gravity of sex, the consequenses and make sure u guys take the precautions needed.

Tell him? IF this guy is digg'n you and he feels like you are feel'n him my next question is "Why hasn't he made a move or at least a suggestion?" Sounds strange to me unless he is the type to act like a gentleman. I once dated a guy for a few months and we were so into eachother but he was a true gentleman so I knew that I was going to be the one to make the first move and I did.
