I am only 20 years old and I am very, very concerned about my teeth. My teeth are very hard to take care of in the first place, but I had a bad accident a few years ago in gymnastics and chipped a lot of my teeth, which have now turned to cavities or bigger gaps. I brush my teeth and floss and use the mouth wash that has been recommended to me by a former dentist. My job does not offer dental insurance, where can I get good dental insurance or find a decently priced dentist to help me with my problem? I've been told the work will cost close to $7,000.00 Please help, I want to be able to smile again!

I would really recommend that you find a dental school in your area. You can get some really great work done there because even though a student is working on you, an instructor is checking their work all the time! You will have to be prepared to spend an entire morning or afternoon there because there is a lot of waiting but can be worth it because the work is so much less expensive.

Lots of ways to fix teeth. None are cheap. Like looking good in a new car can be expensive, so does looking good in a new smile. Don't wait, it only gets worse and more expensive.
I got a dental policy from AFLAC that helps. Its about $33/mo (99/qtr). Its designed to be supplemental to your primary, which you said you don't have. It pays $50 twice a year for cleanings, then after you have it a year, it pays $325 per crown, $110 for the post and build-up. It maxes out at $1400. I hear those numbers are typical for dental policies. Please check around with several supplemental type insurures.
Veneers are a nice way to straighten teeth, but purely cosmetic. I don't know of any insurance that will pay out for those proceedures.
Good dental work isn't cheap, and you want a smile to last a lifetime. Save, beg, or borrow and get the work done right! Don't save a buck or two taking shortcuts. Get a reputable dentist, They are artists for your mouth.

You don't need dental insurance to take care of your teeth. Call several dentists and work out a payment plan. Good luck.

All I can tell you is that I did whatever I could to get a reputable dentist to do veneers for my four top front teeth and it was worth all the money in the world. I had the same problem you did and hated smile, and now people actually tell me what a beautiful smile I have. It is worth it for sure!

The dental school in my town offers good priced dental care. It is supervised by teaching dentists so they do good quality work.

Go to a student of dentristry! They are a lot cheaper and are supervised by professional dentists....see if there is a dental school near you (or even one an hour away). Totally worth checking out!

there isn't any thing cheap to do about the chips or cavities (short of dentures) but if you google search "braces" then you will probably be able find something cheap to fix the gaps.

Scrub your teeth with a pinch of Salt and Baking Soda along with your tooth paste it will make them whiter and shiner, I am a smoker and I use this combination to remove nicotine stains from my teeth. And please verify your email address so your emails can be replied to :-) !
Take Care and God Bless you !

i saw a commercial for Lumineres, try to put that in you search and see what it brings up. Nothing is cheap honey, but maybe you can do a payment plan.
