Not everyone could carry it off, but I'm sure I've seen the odd white guy who could. If he's the sort of guy that really doesn't care what anyone else thinks, then probably he can carry it off without looking ridiculous.

I think it depends on how you dress. If you look like you belong in a band like the kooks, muse etc, I think it would look quite funky!!
