Within the last year and a half, I have went from a size 22 to a 12. I used to weigh over 300 pounds and now I weigh 195 (i'm 5'10, so don't get it twisted about my size). I feel that I am at a size that I can deal with, but I'm still losing weight. All of the clothes that I bought in a size 12, no longer fit right. I'm not completely satisfied with my body, but I do know that I don't want to lose any more weight. What can I do? Im scared to start eating again(fear that I'll gain all my weight back). I need to tone up my stomach, thighs, and my arms are horrible!!!! Any suggestions?

Your weight loss is very impressive. It is good that you are happy where you are now, but you will have to keep active and eat healthy forever... that is what we are supposed to do anyway... we're never supposed to be out-of-control eaters... it is unhealthy and unnatural, just like being grossly overweight is. I'd say to just keep working out if you are already, and if not, start in some way (walk a good amount every day) do some free weights for your arms... get one of those videos (they really work if you keep up with them everyday) and that way you won't have to pay for a gym membership which can be expensive. But if you are already a part of a gym, then just keep exercising for your heart and cardiovascular health, and in terms of the arms, abs, and thighs, do weights, and for thighs do stairs (seriously, anytime you see stairs on a regular basis climb them... and also work out by walking up stairs), and for abs do crunches through your favorite show's commercials. Seriously if you do crunches or sit ups through every commercial break of a show you watch every day, that is about 15 minutes totaled (for an hour show)

Good luck!

I'm a member of a great gym, pure fitness, that offers monthly training consultations. I would start there, gaining some muscle weight might help you maintain your loss better.

I'm in the process of losing myself but it is going so slow. Please share what worked for you if your willing. azpippi@yahoo.com
