Try the Souper Soup Diet (a version of the Cabbage Soup Diet) at lillieross.com. You can sign up to receive the diet for free & they will also email you diet tips Tu-F each week. This diet really works...I have used it several times; especially when I wanted to lose fast. In fact, I’m on it now and have lost 14.5 lbs since last Monday.

Cut down on the carbs and eat a lot of protein like beef, chicken, fish. Stop drinking soda, candy, baked goods. Don't eat anything fried or battered. Snack on fruits instead of potato chips. Include veggies in every meal to fill you up.

Exercise regularly, 30 minutes at least, 3 times a week. Drink 6 glasses of water a day at least. Don't eat after 7 p.m.

I lost 20 pounds doing this. It works.

Some soups contain a high amount of sodium, so no a diet of only soup would not be sufficient.

Try drinking a slim fast to substitiute a meal and drink plenty of water.. atleast 64 ozs daily. Dont drink any juices or sodas.. they contain high amounts of sugar which of course becomes.. fat.

Eat lots of fresh veggies and fruits and cut out sweets altogether.

Dont try to lose too much though. Its unhealthy for your body to lose (or gain) an excessive amount of weight.

Goodluck.

Pray.
Seriously, though, you should just eat a balance diet of the basic food groups and exercise. That is the way humans are supposed to lose weight. Dieting will cause you to get crabby and then gain the weight back. Concentrate on being healthy, not thin. The byproduct is that you will lose weight.

Just eating soup would make you a lot less active. Try drinking boost or one of those nutritional drinks for breakfast, soup for lunch and a stir fry or some other carb/vegetable/meat meal. smaller portions than usual and exercise a little more than usual, not too much more at first.

I reccomend a long run with an english teacher and the consume large amounts of water. Consume foods that are generally low in preservatives, however, eat large amounts to boost your metabolism and increase physical activity. Then, the last week, minimize your caloric intake and maintain your ardeous physical routine and you will be there in no time. Good luck.......

Eat less fat and sugar and drink more water.
Do 30 minutes of cardio before breakfast every morning.
And, an English teacher couldn't hurt. :)
