You can call your local law enforcement agency....let them know what happens and that you are not only annoyed by the noise but are concerned about the safety of those in your area. There are laws that are being broken and patrols will come into the area. It would help if you have the license number and a discription of the car with details about times that it has happened. You may be interviewed, so be ready to talk face to face with those answering the call. Speak up...and good luck.

That would be your local law enforcement agency and there's two ways that it can be addressed. First; ask the Gendarmes to enforce the noise or nuisance ordinances if they have either. Second; when someone is doing that on a public roadway, that could be construed as reckless driving as they do not have the vehicle under control and are not exercising due care and caution. Convince the Police that you are afraid for your own safety and that of any children in the vicinity.

Just call your police # and talk to the dispatcher and tell them what is going on and ask them to go talk to that person or ask them to place a police car out on your street to observe traffic. If the person burning out all the time sees a police car parked there then he may think twice about doing it again or maybe better yet the officer may catch he in the act.

No. You don't call 911 for that. Call the number listed in your phone book for the police department "non-emergencies". They will tell you what to do next.
If you know who this person is and have their number plate write and down in case it helps the police.

You should be able to call your local police agency. Try to give them the tag off the car and let them know exactly what is going on. Not only is it annoying but it is truly unsafe.

my neighborhood watch tends to report things like that to our city office. if you have a neighborhood resource center I would start there for information. if not start with your local city officials office I'm sure there is a city ordnance for that.
