No, not all gay, just all duped by the American Media. We push the 'health' and 'low calories' of light beer (which to me tastes like watered down beer - might as well go for full flavor if you ask me), and the 'civility' of drinking a light beer. It's the same beer - just lighter in color and has a few (and I mean only a few) less calories than a regular beer. However, it drinks like water, and doesn't have the 'beer' taste that a lot of 'snobby' American's hate. As far as I'm concerned (and I'm an American) if you don't like the taste of beer, don't drink beer. Light beer is a dupe of beer companies and their giant advertising departments helping to fix a blunder that the brewer made one day. Best beer is full flavored beer - Guiness, Sam Adams, Killians Irish Red - and maybe a handfull of Mexican beer. But no light beers make the list.

Because most (but not all) of us are so completely bullsh!tted by beer advertising that we'll drink d@mn near anything.
I mean, Christ, people in the US actually DRINK crap like Keystone! As if Bud and Miller weren't bad enough.
Hell, most American "regular" beers are nothing but overcarbonated water with almost no hops or flavor and are loaded with chemical garbage that would get a German brewer tossed into prison.
I refuse to even discuss "light" beer.
Time for a Guinness and some single malt Scotch.

Where I live (Kentucky in the U.S.), we don't drink light beer. Might just be the people I know, but you get made fun of for drinking light beer here.

No they are not all gay --- they somehow believe drinking light beer will be kinder to their beer gut or perhaps take a little longer to show up on the ole gut !!!

I know one reason... so you can sit and drink a lot a beer with out getting drunk real quick. (it takes longer to get drunk on light beer so you have to drink more to get a good buzz,)

I drink it because its yummy! I like the lighter flavor.
Also I dont think people are trying to prove their masculinity or sexuality by what beer they drink.
