You should never eat frozen lobster tails. They should always be eaten fresh. Preferably boiled alive.

Defrost Lobstertails overnight in the refridgerator.

Or, if you are in a hurry:

To defrost lobster,put a tail or tails into a glass baking dish. Cover with plastic wrap.Defrost in microwave oven.

Defrost on high: 1 lobster tail: 2 minutes, 2 lobstertails: 4 minutes

not long at all if you put them in cool water, change it frequently. but the first answer is right, they're way better fresh
