Most likely you've been coughing or vomiting a lot and coughing/vomiting forcefully. It's not unusal to break a few capillaries and most of the time this is a minor thing. You can try a cough supressant to give your trachea a rest. For vomiting, use an antiemetic. If, however, the amount of blood were to increase significantly then it would be wise to seek medical care.

I would worry about this. It sounds like to me if this is an ongoing thing. Strep throat is possible. I would like to be on the safe side an go to a doctor and have this checked out. Also be aware if the blood that you are coughing out is bright in color go to the ER at once.

Take care

There are a multitude of reasons why this happens. Do you smoke, do you have a persistent cough, etc.. Needs a medical doctor to see you and diagnose, not us armchair doctors. Get to your physician and get it checked out. It might be nothing more than a ruptured vessel that is irritated when you vomit or cough....or it could be much worse. Why wait?

You have ripped either a bit of your stomach or stomach lining - you must have pretty violent coughs. I would for sure tell your doctor but I can't imagine much can be done other than working to reduce the cough.

Could be a sign of pnuemonia, or something else bad. If it's when you puke it could be from a bleeding ulcer, weither way you will probably need a GI workup.

could be an ulser? Might want to see a Dr. about that - just a suggestion. Could also be a result of acid reflux disease.
