The average IQ is, by definition, 100. It's scaled for age, so how old you are has nothing to do with it, and, barring a traumatic brain injury, your IQ should not change significiantly with age. Geneally, scores between 90 and 110 are considered average, and approximately 50% of the population falls into that range. Of the remaining 50%, 25% are above that range, and 25% are below it. A score of 108 is less than one standard deviation from 100, so it is considered within the average range.

The average IQ is 100. So 108 is just a little above average.

Take a look at the site below 110 is high average. Anyway I don't think IQ means a lot. My self I'm good at fixing things with my hands so I worked in the phone co. installing and repairing phone equipment. Some of the cable splicers I worked with were really excellent at working with their hands and could build or fix most anything. I don't think IQ tests can measure this kind of ability because it is a written test.
