Big Lots or Dollar Sores...
Also: Recycle Old Boxes
1. Take old boxes and recover them with gift wrap paper from the dollar stores, using a spray adhesive.
2. Cut fabric to fit each section of the box, soak the fabric in Liquid Starch (laundry starch) wring it out to where it is just damp and apply to the sides, bottom, etc.
3. Decoupage with your favorite pictures cut from magazines or leftover wallpaper. You can usually find wallpaper at the stores that sell it and ask for the books from out of date samples. They will sometimes just give you the whole wallpaper book for nothing!

Target sometimes has decorative boxes that you can unfold and put together. Check in the storage or office section at your nearby Target or online. Also you can try Big Lots, if there are any where you live. Maybe even try Overstock.com.

What about visiting your local shoe shop, particularly Hush Puppy or Doc Martins, they have good strong shoe boxes, that some people do not require when they buy their shoes, and then buy some nice wrapping paper, or wall paper, according to your colour and taste and decorate the boxes yourself, costs down to a minimum! Result, can look real good!

If you have a Burlington Coat Factory around you try there they always have nice storage boxes much cheaper then anywhere else. They have a website you should be able to have them shipped to you if you don't have one around.

I got some nice sort of wicker baskets from tesco, they do a few different designs but they're all wicker(ish) and cost a couple of quid each.
They do some leather ones but they're quite expensive.
Have a look on ebay if you can't find it on there it doesn't exist!
