use carmex it kind of numbs it and it keeps it from cracking open

I found Abreva to work awesome. You can buy it at the drug store. It visibly shrank my cold sore the same day and got rid of it in half of the time. I also take some Lysine capsules if I feel a cold sore coming on. Those knock them out before they start if you can take the Lysine before the cold sore really develops. It can't hurt to take the Lysine now too. Only take it around cold sore times. Take some echinacea tincture and a good multi to boost your system also.

Abreva is available over the counter. It is the only thing I've used that actually works fast. The sooner you get it on the better.It's a pretty small tube, but you only need a small amount.

Go to Walmart and buy Abreva - it's over the counter and costs about $10 -- it's well worth it because it really makes it heal up quickly!

Don't forget old Campho-Phenique. It's cheap and was made for stuff like that too. Also Carmex. I'm sure Abreva is great too.

Abreva works really well but it is like 13.00 for a Tiny tube

You can use an over the counter drug called "Abreva" or "Lysine". Apply either one and it should go away in a few days

keep dabbing it with perfume or after shave lotion,it stings like hell,but it dries the out and gets rid quickly
