Buy foam sheets and let them decorate name tags in your bday theme. I used fish stencils and puff paints. Can play musical chairs, likely you have chairs and music. A good one if weather permits is relay race. fill two buckets with water and have two empty ones away for the first and make two teams. Using sponges have kids transfer water from bucket to empty one and team who reaches line on empty bucket wins. Family fun has great ideas for all ages.

My daughter turned 3 last week.We had a very small group of people( about 9 people, mostly adults...) and we all did the hokey pokey! Now, I hate that game and the song - but it thrilled her beyond measure!Everyone did it, including grandparents and babies, and I honestly think we built a lifetime memory!Try Old Macdonald or Ring Around The Rosie. You could also try the dance then freeze game.Nothing remotely competitive, just wiggle like crazy with the music and suddenly freeze when the music stops.

Just use the classics that our parents used on us.

-Musical chairs
-Pin the tail on the donkey
-Water balloon toss/egg toss (if you don't mind the mess)
-Cupcake walk
-Red light, Green light (a.k.a. stop/start)
-Freeze tag
