There have already been dozens or answers to the same question on here. Why don't you have a look. To reiterate. Do not use pet sho[p products. Do not use flea collars. Do go to your vet and ask for something like stronghold/revolution spot on or advantage. Then get some spray to use on the house and spray the carpet, the curtains, the bed, in fact anywhere your dog goes. Only 20% of fleas actually live on the dog, the rest, including larvae and eggs, live in the carpet and furnishings. Buy a flea collar and put it inside your vacuum cleaner bag to kill eggs and larvae you suck up when you clean. Repeat the spot on treatment every single month for at least 4 months and you should be able to clear your home and the dog of fleas.
Since the flea is the interemediary host of the tapeworm larvae, you also need to have your dog on a proper worming schedule.Once every 3 or 4 months is normal.

Poor Thing!

As long as the dog isn't a puppy— give him a bath, with flea shampoo. Then hit him with Frontline or Advantage.

Frontline is more expensive, but protects from fleas and ticks. I've always had great luck with Advantage. You can get both from most petstores like Petco, or from you vet.

Make sure you don't bathe your dog again for at least 5 days after putting the medication on him.

They make sprays and things for your house and furniture, but they can get expensive. If you put down Borax (a cheap detergent) on your carpet, and then vaccum it up it's a cheap way to kill of the buggers.

If the fleas come back you can put a second round of Advantage on as soon as two weeks later.

Flea season is almost over so it should be fairly easy to nip this problem in the bud.

Get your house exterminated cause you have to get the fleas out of your carpet cause they live there. Take him to the vet and get Frontline and also before you do that, bath him twice a day with flea shampoo and put flea powder on him and then take him to the vet. He's in a lot of pain right now, so don't let it last long.

dogs surely circulate extra by potential of the tone of our voices than the actually words. dogs growl whilst they are afraid and would chew. we can *instruct* dogs what some words mean in the process the opportunity of coaching. otherwise, they don't understand our words yet then so few human beings understand dogs' physique language.

frontline plus works for fleas, as well as ticks. It kills the larvae, and eggs. Vacuum thoroughly even furniture to get rid of all eggs. Another good product that i use on mosquito season is canine advantix, it repels them.

The quick, easy, and cheap way to do it is to rub lavender on the back of the neck, and get a $5 flea collar.
