I meet this guy, and he is very sweet and kind, he has even published a book and is very smart, but he still lives with him mama, I think the reason for this is that he likes to have money and his mom has a beautiful house. Should I be worried about this, or is it just sweet and shows he has respect for his mom? My mom always told me that a man who has a good relationship with his mom knows that a woman should be respected? Is this considered bad or good and should it influence me being in a relationship with him?

You have not stated as to how old he is???? The question I would have is: What are his reasons for living at home....how many relationships has he been in........how much influence does his mother have in his decision-making....is he CHEAP!.....does he want a relationship that will be long-term & independant of his mother (moving out). I think it is a good sign when a man has a great relationship with his mother, it will show how he feels toward women. I would really want to know his age & reasons for not wanting to move out & have his freedom.

Depends on how old he is, the health of his mother, if he's saving money for a particular goal and will move out soon, and what his future plans are.
If you think it's just because he likes a lavish lifestyle, then prepare to come second to mama. If he's over age 34, I'd run away.

PS- Anyone can publish a book if they pay for it- it doesn't mean he's smart, it means he bought a Kinko's-style "copy" service

I know someone who won't leave his parents. He says why should I, I have everything I need there. He is 35. To me that means looser.
I know another man that his mom lives with him. With his schedule he needs his mom to be there for his kids while he goes to work. That is being responsible.
Then I know a guy who his mom lives with him because she is sickly. They have separate parts of the home, but he has an intercom if she needs him. And he checks on her but gives her plenty of space to feel she is still on her own. He is very Respectful.

I think in your situation it is a good thing but find out if he is willing to move in the coming years or what he feels is in his future. Good Luck.

Well I guess it would depend on the circumstances surrounding the living arrangement. Like how ol dis he? Did momma need for him to move in for some reason. Otherwise it might worry me that he just needs a momma to take of him, in which case I would run.

Maybe his mother is living with him. It might be his house. I dated a guy like that, very into computers turn out it was his house bought and paid. I asked why he didn't tell me it was his house and he said because he doesn't want women to know he has money.

Seems...not so good. He seems like an awsome guy, but if you two fall in love and want to live together or get married...do you want to live with his mom? Just talk to him about it. Ask him why he lives with his mom and when and if he is planning on moving out. (and to where, etc.)

Depends.

If he is living with her because he is getting his life straight or something, I could see that. But if he never moved out or is just there because he doesn't want to live alone - ehhhh...

It all depends on why he is still there. There are several different reasons why. You need to ask him then decide if its a situation you wanna be involved in.
