I am very depressed and stressful lately, which causes me not to do my homework. I can't finish my homework or study for tests, and I just recieved my interum (an F). I used to be a very good student in Middle School, but I can't commit myself somehow. I'm in my freshman year, and I want to go to college, but I need better grades! Help!

Make school your first priority. No internet, no tv, no video games until your homework is done. Don't be afraid to ask questions if you don't understand something. College is much more difficult than high school, and good study habits will only help you as you progress in your education.

You can do it - but you have to understand that your main job in high school is to get an education, not have a social life. You need a social life, but your education MUST come first.

Talk to your parents, and your counselor at school. They can give you ideas to get you back on track.

I would suggest trying to first find an activity that you like to do that relaxes you and is fun for you to do...it could be anything. Then the amount of stress in your life won't seem as bad. Then if your grades don't improve from that alone I would go to your school guidance office and ask them about a good source for you to go to for tutoring. I went to tutoring in high school because I had trouble with math and it really helped a lot! It boosted my confidence and made me a happier less stressful person. I hope this helps and relax a bit - Good luck!

doing all your homework is a factor of your grade. whether you do your homework and do o.k. on the exams you will bypass. in case you tutor some attempt consisting of your homework then your instructor will a minimum of take interest in getting you a stable grade. examining comprehension could be complicated to 3 yet what you may get out of examining is what grow to be the biggest portion of the story, what's it approximately, what's the ethical of the story if any, additionally it helps to underline the significant words interior the story. i.e. at present I went to college. I met my buddies interior the corridor and we began speaking. all of us ran to class so we would not be previous due. I forgot my e book for 1st era. yet another tardy and that i would be interior the principals place of work. I pondered for a 2d, yet it is an open e book attempt and it may well be an basic A or detention. What a dilemma i thought. I right now ran to my locker and grabbed my e book for sophistication and only made it earlier the door closed. the instructor grow to be previous due. grow to be this luck? Who is acquainted with. i finished the attempt in 15 minutes to spare, an basic A for this attempt. i might have failed if i might have left my e book in my locker. something of the day grow to be stable. Now it is largely slightly tale. There are words above that are beside the point i.e. grow to be this luck? Who is acquainted with (very beside the point) could have been omitted, notwithstanding it may well be uninteresting and undeniable, yet nonetheless unimportant. the biggest clues are e book and attempt. devoid of the e book you will possibly fail the attempt. setting up the story is only the authors way of having the ball rolling. i'm hoping this helps. attempt on focusing the info of the story and not the bits and bobs. bits and bobs are stable for somethings, yet in seventh grade they might like so which you would be able to get the info of the story.

first of all, stop going on-line so often. This pastime should be used when you are not busy or during a weekend. I have a little brother your age so i know what i am talking about.

try sleeping earlier and eating better, drink orange juice and other healthy stuff. When you come home, do homework first, then watch tv. Try talking to your parents or guardians about this.
Hope you feel better:)
