me and my boyfriend have had issues that we are dealing with concerning his ex. I know for a fact that he has spent the night with her before when I have told him to leave my apartment. It seems like everytime he gets me back comfortable with him, she seems to somehow pop back up. Recently I found out that he has called her because he claims he was just checking up on her. He says he knows she's hurt by his past actions. (what about me) Now he seems like he is so into me fully.. (gave him an ultimatum me or her). should I trust that he's serious or is he just trying to make me comfortable so he can continue having his cake and ice cream too?

my thing is, why won't he go on and be with her. The way i understand it from his friends is that she used to give him money, pay all the bills, buy his clothes, she has no kids; i have 2. seems like the better deal over there.

I really don't understand why women waste so much time, enegry, and emotions trying to "deal with" guys who treat them like crap. I don't understand the point of wasting your life on a so-called relationship that doesn't make you happy, doesn't move your life forward, makes you feel insecure and is full of hurtful games.
Is his guy, and all his issues and drama and games and pain the best you hope for? Don't you want better for yourself?
Why oh why do you waste your life on this crap?
He's playing you. Find a decent, mature, loving, honest man.

Be careful. You should never had to give your man an ultimatum to be with you. It should be his choice and he should want to be with you. He should choose you over her or anybody without you asking. So be careful because he is just tryin to build the trust and he will eventually be hiding something.

He spent the night with her!! That should be the first indication that he's just playing around with you and has no consideration for your feelings. Dump him now to avoid any further heart ache.

You delivered the ultimatum and I almost guarantee he's gonna stray a little again. You had BETTER, and I mean it is IMPERATIVE that you stick to your word if he does and kick his *** out the door.

What are you waiting for? Dump his *** before he gives you some disease he got from her. If you stay with him, you will always distrust him and that can't help your relationship.
