I have over 16,000 Tracks in the library of WMP 10. How can I remove all tracks from the library only without having to click and drag the whole lot?

On my version of WMP 10, there is no option to select all. If I click on edit, it only allows me to delete the one track I previously clicked on. The only way I have found to batch delete is to click-drag, which, for the amount of tracks involved, is very time consuming. There must be an easier way.

Select a single song in the library view, type Control-A, and then hit the delete key!

i don't think of you may want to do what i imagine you're trying to do... WMP is tied to the OS. you could improve it, yet you do not "uninstall" it. you could replace the settings although - it truly is an unrelated step. in my view, i do not even USE the microsoft WMP. I easily have diverse media gamers for diverse formats. I wholeheartedly recommend VLC participant for most stuff - yet you could set any participant as a default participant for any given format.
