It is not that Jews don't believe. To them, he is not the promised messiah. He is just another prophet. The "King of the Jews" title was given to Jesus by the Romans when they crucified him. The Jews don't consider him a king.

The Jews had rejected God's Way. Christ brought it back but many would not change their ways. See the example of Nicodemus speaking with Christ in John chapter 3 in the bible.

Nicodemus was suppose to be a ruler of the jews however he came to Christ at night. He didn't wish others to know what he was doing there.

It became apparent Nicodemus had a hard time to understand Christ's Teachings.

If a ruler of jews didn't understand Christ how would the jews whom Nicodemus taught understand?

if joseph was his father, then he could have been counted as of the kingly bloodline...

and no jews belive in jesus as the messiah, or god, or anything like that, those who do, in beliving such, have converted to christianity. thats definitional.

Jesus simply did not fulfill the qualifications for the jewish messiah, and what christians belive him to have been was *DEFINITELY* not it. as the jewish messiah was not god, or a sacrifice, or any more divine than you or I.

where do people get this idea that jesus was even a prophet to judaism? he was nothing. of no signifigance. at most he was a teacher.

Some do. Sadly, not all. It is fulfillment of prophecy that he is rejected by his own. They still look for the messiah. The same as some of the world today accept him as saviour, others do not.

Many do. Not all who are called will hear. It's a human choice.
