It's religion. It doesn't have to make sense.

What??? And make up whole new reasons to hate, despise, dislike, look down on and argue with each other? Come on...I mean COME ON!!! Racism is taboo, Communism is defeated or just ignored(except Cuba, for some reason), the battle of the sexes simply got boring. What are closed minded people supposed to do if you take away their God??? And NO EVERLASTING LIFE....what a gyp!! How are ignorant, overbearing simpletons supposed to feel good about themselves if they can't disparage science? For the answer, you'll just have to read and reread the Bible until you're reading it through with the help of the Holy Spirit, MMKAY? That should keep you busy.

Only science will be able to give an answer that is reasonable about the origin of universe or of species. That will be the acceaptable truthful answer for most reasonable people.
However, most religious books have their own fantastic fictional theories about almost anything. It is OK for any individual to believe these as long as it is his/her private belief and does not harm others or society.
The stupidity is that some people are willing to kill and go to war over beliefs .
The world will be a better place when all learn to live and let live.

Because you and many have this misunderstanding.
God did not come, God is in the Unchangeable. He does not change because He is The Perfect, unlike our universe that is expanding and changing as you read these words.
God is the Creator (not a creation) the universe is a creation that request a creator to it.
No need to be arrogant.

Here's the thing...i can't speak for the hypocrites of my religion, but i don't think anyone other than actual devil worshippers are, well, devil worshippers. they just aren't on wavelength with christianity. however, God is the creator in the religions of christianity, so he did exist for always (according to the religion, i'm not sure what you believe). however, in religion, we can consider alternatives all the time, but the choice is ours what to believe. i consider that there could be no God...but wholeheartedly believe otherwise.
btw, im not sure what you meant by "give up your self-serving religions", but i'm not going to comment on that...out of choice. i guarantee you'll get hazed by others for it...good luck, buddy.

Truth is truth. When two views are diametrically opposed, either one is right and the other wrong, or vise versa.
You have to judge the evidence. Just don't be wrong, it could be the difference between life and death.
By the way, God always existed and he created ex nhilo, created everything from nothing by his Word. (Jesus)

The universe must have come from something. Theories abound. The god argument is that since he exists out of time, he is infinite. Period. End of story. End of discussion. We're done here.
I for one think astrophysics is far more interesting than theology. I love my subscription to Astronomy magazine.

"This only One and very Self is omnipresent, omniscient and omnipotent. This also every Christian acknowledges from his doctrine and every gentile from his religion. In consequence, wherever he is, a man thinks that God is there and that he prays to God at hand; thinking and praying so, men cannot but think that God is everywhere, that is, omnipresent [in all places at all times]; likewise omniscient [all knowing] and omnipotent [all powerful]. Everyone praying to God, therefore, implores Him from the heart to lead him because He can lead him; thus he acknowledges the divine omnipresence, omniscience and omnipotence, doing so in turning his face to the Lord; thereupon the truth flows in from the Lord" (Divine Providence n. 157).

Oh, great One, that depends on how you approach the subject.
In science you need to explain things in a certain way, but in religion it is a completely different situation.
Besides, who put you in charge of deciding what is responsible and what is not ?

That is why God has to come from something.
In our belief, God was once a man, live on a earth similar to ours, and advanced into a perfect being, who we called "God", this God created our world, and we will advance to be like him.
Thus, a universe cannot be pop out from nothing. logic is, nothing comes from nothing.
