I hae asked questions but I answer more that I ask. The scron of the question depends on the type of question asked. If it is someones opinion then there will be no scorn from me, but when people start stating things that arent/cant be proven as facts then there is scorn to be delivered.

Hmm, I have answered more questions that I have asked, but I don't have too many burning issues that can't be researched in any other way. :o)

I rarely have scorn for a question, unless:
1) It is obviously a discriminatory and hate-filled rant vs. an actual question, or
2) It is a question that has been asked hundreds of time already. I wish people used the "Search for Questions" box more often.

So I guess my answer would be no, it doesn't bother me.

I don't ask many questions. One of the reason being that sometimes as I'm typing one I tend to look, and see if its been asked before. If it has then I go to the previously asked question, and usually find the answer I'm looking for any way. Saves me a lot of time.

I don't ask racist, or sexual questions. A lot of those are asked by immature people who don't have anything better to do.

I'll answer political questions that come from either the ultra-left/right, because they tend to be so passionate in their rhetoric.

I did one time ask a distasteful joke/riddle though...

With scorn, sure. But it doesn't bother me when people answer rather than ask questions.

I have no questions to ask at the moment and my scorn is reserved for those who are in some way destructive.

It bothers me when people are sarcastic, as I always try to help. I never need to ask a question in here as I have other sources (like Wikipedia) which I use.

No, I don't ask a lot of questions. Maybe because I have a brain and can think for myself. I don't need others opinions, I just do my own research and come to my own conclusions.

It's the scorn part that gets me, with a side dish of ridicule.

"You worship a chicken? A chicken?!? Is Colonel Sanders your pope?"

(See how we smack about a lot of people with that one.)

No. I can't let people get to me like that. Life's too short. This is ONLY Yahoo Answers after all...it isn't THAT serious to me. I enjoy helping people, but I definitely don't come here to get ill with anyone because of what they choose to do.

I have never asked a question. I just answer them. To each their own.
