Yes people have said at work that I sound gay. People are asking my supervisor if I'm gay and she asked me if I was. It bugs me so much because I'm not which make it very difficult because there is a girl I really like but she probally thinks I'm gay.

Try a voice coach. For speech impediments and such.

Watched a talk show long ago, where there were these women and one guy who had voicel like a little kid. The coach worked with them throughout the hour, and taught them some ways of speaking that changed their voices.

It's worth a shot!

I have a friend the same way and people always ask me,"Is he gay?" Sooner or later, It'll change don't worry. Just try making a conscious effort to alter your voice when talking.

Unless you sound like Michael Jackson, your voice should have nothing to do with anyone thinking you are gay.

If so many people think you are gay, then you probably are giving them a good reason to think that.

i hear Justin Timberlake is going through the same thing(no really!) i suggest using it to your advantage and learn to sing, girls will think you are sexy. Or you can always take some type of speech therapy or hormone pills to lower it, just talk to your doctor first.

go to a speech pathologist or voice coach. you probably have affectations in your speech. it's not the tone or pitch. it's like getting rid of an accent.
