Isis, heavenly mother, worshiped is thy name,
in thine kingdome of angels ye stay and rain,
deocil goes by the waxing moon, wddershin goes
when the moon doth wane,
Isis lady of light the mighty one to whom we cry aloud,
i praise thee, I am your child,
blessed be!

It's a benediction, a statement of praise. It's not an oath 'cause you're not promising to do anything or follow anything. You're just calling out complements to the Goddess Isis...which, if you believe in Her (and I do) is good in itself.

I agree with Jayelle. If you want to be bound to a certain Goddess/God you have to promise to do so for life and also that you are going to practice in their name. What you have here is to praise Isis or call Isis to your circle to aid in your ritual and magick.
Blessings!

It sounds like a nice praise to me. It describes how you see Isis. It doesn't promise or pledge anything.

sounds more like a chant which could be used as either a prayer, oath or pledge depending upon the circumstances and meaning of the person saying these words.
