You don't understand. An angel, from aggelos in Greek, is simply a messenger. The spirit beings deliver a message IN THE NAME OF GOD. It is GOD'S MESSAGE, not the angel's.

Aggelos is also used several times in scripture where it clearly refers to humans delivering God's message.

I dont want to insult anybody, but do you people really thing that God exists ? I mean...i respect the philosophy that Jesus had, but please...point towards the God and say "there he is" if he is there. The preachers like to say "if you see a smoke behind the hill, then you know that flame is there. Same thing is for God". Only, what simbolises the smoke for God ?

Anyway, lets get back to your question. I consider this to be a mythology, since nothing is for real. Angels are God's messangers (missionaries), he uses them to manipulate the material world on Earth. Angels are souls of dead children. God takes children away, when he needs them, because children dont have any sins on heir souls.

Every time in the Old Testament you see "the Angel of the Lord" that is Jesus, not just some angel. So He has every right to claim He is God since He is.

Do you think it's possible that God and the Angel are both there. or that the angel was taking up the post as directed by God. God often uses angels to do his work.

Even today, the Jewish people are very specific about how they address and describe God. To them, as I understand it (which could be wrong), it was showing honor to the Lord to refer to His messengers as God Himself.

Even today, they will only use G-d in written form.

The angels were representatives sent by god and he endowed them with power representative of his own in order that the people could understand the potential power of God. They were given permission to speak for him because Gods power is such that for people to look upon him would kill them (apparently)

It's a by-product of angelic euphoria. ;)

Seriously, an angel is literally a messenger. The messengers are delivering the messages verbatim.

Angels are the messengers of God and in no way speak for themselves.
