When Israel's deliverer Moses was to come, Pharaoh ordered the murder of Hebrew babies. (Exodus 1:16) When Jesus The Deliverer from heaven came, Herod ordered the killing of the babies of Israel. (Matthew 2:16)

Could abortion be a plan of Satan to preempt the advent of a messenger of God? Your thoughts? Discuss.

From 1973 through 2002, more than 42 million abortions occurred.
42 MILLION BABIES KILLED. Their only crime...being conceived!

Pharoah ordered the slaughter of young babies simply to stop the nation which was in slavery at that time from growing more populous and removing the male population was a way to stop young males growing up into a rebellious army. With the slaughter of innocents in Bethlehem that was Herods way of trying to remove a possible threat to his future dynasty. However I agree there does seem to be a satanic influence involved in both cases. The Jews were promised to be gods chosen people where the seed of Abraham was going to spring from foreshadowing the Christ and destroying the nation would appear to thwart the will of God. The delivery of Moses and in turn the Exodus was all apart of Gods plan to ensure this promise was delivered. The appearance of the astrologers following a star that went to Herods palace appears to have been a circumstance created by Satan. This again was thwarted by the appearance of an Angel that warned the astrologers to go home a different way. Satan tries to thwart gods will but whatever god says will happen comes to be....

Abortion is not new. It was around even before jesus' time. When the president orders all women to have an abortion, you might have a tenuous correlation there. Until then, it's nothing.

Edit: "Did you know after 5 days the baby already has finger nails not to mention a beating heart."

No, actually, but I DID know that it has a beating heart after about 5 *weeks* and fingernails after about 30. Did YOU know that after 5 days the ball of cells that may or may not become an embryo, then a fetus, is just reaching the uterus?

Interesting point. Some have speculated that the Holocaust or shoah was an attempt to forestall the coming of Messiah by eliminating the Jews. It would not be too surprising given that Hitler had night visits from an entity he thought was Lucifer in his room and he freely dabbled in occult practices and sexual perversity. Also quite a few witches and other free minds given to the occult admit that they do fast for abortions among other things(since the practice of child sacrifice is abhorrent to society except in the form of abortions where it is not so obvious) just as religious fast to thank God.

Ok here you go. The bible does not condem abortion.

Out of more than 600 laws of Moses, none comments on abortion. One Mosaic law about miscarriage specifically contradicts the claim that the bible is antiabortion, clearly
stating that miscarriage does not involve the death of a human being. If a woman has a
miscarriage as the result of a fight, the man who caused it should be fined.
If the woman dies, however, the culprit must be killed:

"If men strive, and hurt a woman with child, so that her fruit depart from her, and yet no mischief follow: he shall be surely punished according as the woman's husband will lay upon him; and he shall pay as the judges determine.

"And if any mischief follow, then thou shalt give life for life, Eye for eye, tooth for
tooth . . ."--Ex. 21:22-25

The bible orders the death penalty for murder of a human being, but not for the expulsion
of a fetus.

How many thumbs down will I get from Christians out there? All I did was use verses from your book to prove a point.

I am not sure if it is Satan preempt, but I do believe abortions are murder.
Did you know after 5 days the baby already has finger nails not to mention a beating heart.
Then again I don't think the government should step in at any way or form to tell a women what she can do with her body.

I think that's a great question, and personally I believe he is going after someone if not an entire generation. He knows prophecies well and has a history of trying to stop them. His use of Haman to try and kill all Jews was no doubt in part to keep Jesus from being born as prophecied.

Good point, but today Abortion is just a convince for people not wanting to be responsible for their actions.

Sad that this form of Child Abuse is permitted.

No: you are presuming a pattern to abortions. For example: under your theory, abortions would only be necessitated for male Christian babies...

I don't think so,

I think Abortion is just another step our society has taken to further ourselves from God.

It is sad that we kill the weakest among us.

Girls, don't kill your babies, they are a gift from God.

Adoption is Love.

Peace!
