Okay, so I'm in 8th grade and I really like this guy. He's really nice and sweet and so funny! Well, I just met him this year, so he doesn't know me too well yet, and my friend asked him if he likes me, and he said as a friend. Since we don't know eachother well, does that mean he might like to get to know me better? He's still really nice and stuff to me. My friend said I should ask him myself. Should I? I'm prude and know nothing about dating! Thanks!
P.S.-I really like him, like I blush whenever I see him!

Aww... I remember being your age and having the biggest crush on this boy! He was so cute and charming and nice! I just adored him! But to make a long story short, I was far to shy to say anything, so he went off to high school and I forgot about him. Flash forward 4 years and we ended up working together! Can you believe that! Turns out he had a big crush on me then too, but we were both too shy to say anything! (Oddly this is now almost ten years ago and I still consider him my first love.. lol) So take it from my personal experience, get a bunch of your friends together along with a bunch of his and go hang out somewhere. Have a laugh and become friends, you just never know what'll happen! And if nothing else, you'll have made a new friends. Cheers kiddo!!

girl look it seems like ur a little shy so this is what u should do....
-make some hints like tell someone that the both of u know that u said hi
-when u c him wave at him and give him a sexy smile
-talk to him and c if he's into someone but play it cool and if not then u should step up before it's to late because don't think ur tha only person that like him okay

You worried too much,don't worry my dear,u're still young.Be friends with him and yes you two guys can get to know each other better as friends,maybe soon or later you guys will find out what happen next.So don't expect too much,go with the flow and just be friends

Kate if he's always nice and sweet to you then what is the harm in getting to know him better? If he likes you then you'll soon get the message...and if you aren't sure then what the hell, ask! What's the worst that could happen????

you should be very carefull not to make a foul of yourself,be care full in approaching him,its v normal to blush and stuff,so if he doesn't like u,forget him he is not worth it,don't waste your time chasing him ,live your life
