Just tell her that you do not subscribe to any of the currently popular ultimate truths and that you take offense at people who knock on your door pushing such frauds.

There is a difference between Polite and Nice.

Polite means you're following all the social rules for conversation.

Nice means that you're actually taking other peoples concerns to heart when dealing with them.

I noticed you said "religious" so that leaves me to believe she wants you to come to a church or something. Yeah, they have a quota or if they save 5 souls they get a free trip to heaven.

Simply explain to here that you need personal time with your faith and you want to be left alone with your religion. ( even if you have none) If she doesn't get the hint by then, she's trespassing, call the police.

People like this use the etiquette as a weapon. " Well, if I'm nice to them, they have to hear me out" trust me, if you've already explained to her that you're not interested, she' s not being nice. She's being abusive of you kind nature. They are like telemarketers, always calling you wanting you to buy something. People knocking at your door trying to sell you something " If comeback enough times, I'll break their will! Mwahahahaha! " Give her one more chance. explain in no uncertain terms that you're not interested. If she comes back, call the police.

Just tell her you are not interested. What do you mean by constantly? Like every day or something? Has she asked if it would be alright is she could come back and you said yes? She is only doing what the bible commands Christians to do and has an obligation to preach the good news to all the inhabited earth. If you really do not have any interest then please do not let her keep wasting her time for there are many who are interested and which she may be able to help.

\The problem is that you're being nice which says to her that you're open to hearing the Word of the Lord.
So how about this for polite and yet firm: "I've begun a new policy of reminding sales people that coming to my door is trespassing. I will call the police in the future."
If you can't say it to her face, print it and hand it to her through a slight openeing in the door.

Hmmm.... have you invited her in and listened to what she wants to say?
Maybe she feels that she has a responsibility to try talking to you until you at least hear what she has to say. you never know.
It's good that she's nice about it, anyway.
Maybe you should just have a talk with her, let her share her faith, then tell her if you don't believe what she has to say, and I think a polite way to tell her you're not interested would be to thank her for caring, and sharing her beliefs, then tell her that you disagree.

At some point in the past, mankind learned to depart from God's will and began to sin.
Because no one is free from sin, humanity cannot deal with God directly, so God revealed Himself in ways people could understand.
God called Abraham and his progeny to be the means for saving all of mankind.
To this end, He gave the Law to Moses.
The resulting nation of Israel went through cycles of sin and repentance, yet the prophets show an increasing understanding of the Law as a moral, not just a ceremonial, force.
Jesus brought a perfect understanding of the Mosaic Law, that of love and salvation.
By His death and resurrection, all who believe are saved and reconciled to God.

Play loud death metal, and when you hear her knocking turn up the volume. I recommend Lamb of God, Dimmu Borgir, or Children of Bodom-- but of course if you have personal favorites in that genre, use them.

If she doesn't get the idea and go away, answer the door in your underwear and scratch yourself while you are talking to her.

Tell her that you are not interested in her religion. Be honest but polite with her. Nothing wrong with telling the truth. If she has a problem with your answer its her problem, do not make it yours.
