cream cheese frosting taste even BETTER?? I am making a carrot cake from out of the box and was looking for suggestions. Thanks!

I will assume you have the frosting already and you want to add to it and not make your own frosting.
Try different extracts.
Rum, vanilla, almond etc to the frosting If you put nuts in the cake add those to the frosting or use as decoration. If you havent' made the cake yet use the extract in the batter for the cake to and that will meld the flavors you use.

HERE ARE A FEW TO TRY:
WHIPPED CREAM CHEESE FROSTING:
INGREDIENTS:
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
1 cup white sugar
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream

DIRECTIONS:
In a small bowl beat whipping cream until stiff peaks form; set aside.
In a large bowl combine cream cheese, sugar, salt and vanilla. Beat until smooth, then fold in whipped cream.

CHOCOLATE CREAM CHEESE FROSTING:
INGREDIENTS:
4 (1 ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
4 cups confectioners' sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1/8 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons evaporated milk

DIRECTIONS:
Have all ingredients at room temperature. Melt the chocolate in a double boiler or microwave oven.
In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy. Pour melted chocolate into cream cheese and mix on medium speed until well blended. Add vanilla and pinch of salt. Slowly mix in the confectioners sugar.
Scrape the sides of the bowl and increase mixer speed to medium-high. Slowly add evaporated milk until the frosting is spreading consistency.

LEMON CREAM CHEESE FROSTING:
INGREDIENTS:
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup butter
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 teaspoons lemon zest
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
5 cups confectioners' sugar

DIRECTIONS:
Beat cream cheese, butter, lemon juice, lemon rind, and vanilla together until smooth and fluffy. Add confectioners' sugar in 2 additions. Beat until creamy. Add more icing sugar or juice as needed for easy spreading. Makes about 3 2/3 cups.

You can mix it with a small tub of cool whip.
