First off you have to realize all humans are fallible and we have been given the grace of God. Once you have accepted Jesus you are a new creature in Christ. Because of this all sins are forgiven. Of course it is hard to live a Christian life in this day and age, maybe even more difficult than ever before. When one sins and has accepted Jesus you have the conviction in your heart that it is wrong. However, you should not feel guilty because we are washed of those sins now and forever. With time you will mature in Christ if you really desire to. Just remember all of us have struggles and nobody is perfect except for the Lord.

I find it hard every day to live a christian life and I fail often. The temptations in our world especially in our humanistic and materialistic society, are constantly at work in the hearts and minds of all people. Christian and non christian alike. Waking each day and praying in earnest for a daily walk with Christ as the center of your life... and a conscious effort to die to self is the best way for me.

Realize that Jesus Christ did it all for us when He sacrificed Himself on the Cross at Calvary. He also promised to leave us a comforter, the Holy Spirit, who enables to live that sort of life and be like Him, doing all the things He did" healing the sick, bringing Good News to the lost sheep, binding up the wounds of the brokenhearted and so much more.

I know what you mean. When even changing the channel on the t.v brings temptations. This is why I am so happy to be a Catholic so when I do fall (I don't mean terribly, but even entertain a thought too long) I can go to Confession. Jesus said "Whose sins you shall forgive shall be forgiven and whose sins you do not forgive remain with them"

Being a xian is simple. You don't have to think, you don't have to reason. You just keep repeating the same crazed apologetics over and over. You become a simpleton and waste away your entire live pursuing a bunch of nonsensical myths. It is easy to be ignorant.

The life of a TRUE christian requires more will than most can provide.

To forgive all who do you wrong.
To be selfless and sacrifice for the comfort of others.
To reserve judgment.

These things are not easy... they wouldn't mean anything if they were.

One of The True Christian Faith is constantly under attack by those of the world who would seek to destroy his, or her, witness.

if you are not of The Faith you will not understand that ... but it is truth

perhaps a way to put it for you would be:... temptation is all around... and even those of The Faith are suseptable to it... and when on of The Faith succumbs to temptation and it is made known to the world...those who are enemies of the Faith use that against The Faith. The world holds those of TheFaith to an unsustanable standard....

When we take our eyes off God, we can get distracted and drawn in by things of this world. We lose sight of his plan and we stray. Satan is always on the offense against us because he doesn't want the world to hear the Good News of God.
