Your coven should be guiding you in your studies. I am sure that they have resources and methods to help you to learn about different deities. Have you studied the myths surrounding these two deities? Have you looked into the symbols and the temple remains from those who worshiped Isis? Temple remains for people worshiping a deity called Arianrhod have not been found.

One of our local covens gives seeker classes. One of the required homework assignments is to give a report on a deity. The report is a minimum of three pages long and must include how, where, and when the deity was worshiped and any myths and symbols associated with them. The reports must have credible (academic) resources---of which only two websites are allowed. I thought it was a wonderful assignment.

My recommendation would be to study both of them, before making the decision to "switch" - there's a lot more to the Celtic pantheon than Arianrhod. ;)

I was initially drawn to the Norse pantheon, then Egyptian for a few years, but now I find myself drawn to the Greek. I personally don't think there's a problem with changing pantheons, however I think that *mixing* pantheons is a little more challenging and probably something to stay away from.

There is nothing wrong with switching pantheons; however Wicca follow their own specific pantheon, so just as a Christian would follow their deity Yahweh someone who was Wicca would follow their deities the Great Mother Goddess and Horned God [placeholder names – real names taught to you when you are initiated into Wicca].

When you say that you are still in your year and a day I can only assume then you are in fact training to become Wicca, not Wicca yet, in which case this is something you need to talk to your coven about as they are the ones training you so should be able to advise you far better than anyone on Yahoo! Answers. The coven should be able to explain to you that although Wicca is henotheistic, meaning it does not deny the existence of other gods, it still follows it's own gods as part of it's beliefs.

Do what is comfortable for you. Just remember that you dont mix the pantheons. The energies do not mesh to well. Besides this is your time to explore and learn what works for you. Have fun and good luck!

Follow what calls you. Its far to early for you to have how or who you worship be set in stone. Explore and grow and learn.
