I would like to dye my hair red (like a natural red-head color...not too dark) for halloween. I have never dyed my hair and i'm completely clueless. I dont mind if it lasts a couple weeks but I want it to eventually wear away so that you won't see roots. Does this sort of product exist?? What do you recommend? Thanks!

If you have a Sallys Beauty Supply in your area, go there. They have lots of diffrent temp colors to choose from. I would suggest staying away from an actual Haircolor. I would say go for something made for Halloween use. You will definetly find something in Sallys!! And for a reasonable price!
Good Luck

They do have dyes that are temp or rather semi-permanent especially for Halloween. Try near the spray's that u can find in CVS, Wal-Mart or Wal-Green's. The price is really reasonable. I do like the spray's. They also have if its called a dye something u can wash out in 8 washing. Ask anyone at the above stores. Good luck and HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

in the adventure that your hair has been a gloomy or brilliant colour it could be difficult to get rid of - you could't lighten colour with colour you could get rid of the darker colour first. also, if you're doing an important Tone replace (pink to impartial or Ash or Ash to Gold) you want to get rid of the colour tone or the effect will be darker than wanted or 'muddy' in tone. this will require 2 (or better) separate treatments yet would take delivery of on an same day searching on hair situation and wanted effects. wish This helps. good-success!! @ hairbender: Why could you persevere in correcting human beings like a first grade college ma-rm. Your body of recommendations is self important and insulting and the insinuation that a specialist would deliberately harm someones hair borders on to blame. i have heard specialist hairdressers verify with the products used as 'Dye' and 'Bleach' - so get over your self. @ Sur l. a. Mer: Do you extremely prefer to submit a mile lengthy rant about the negative aspects of haircolor? this form of posting only makes you look to be some militant crusader hostile to the cosmetics market and that is not any longer what those forums are for. Warn human beings about conceivable negative aspects yet do not RANT - it only makes YOU look stupid.
