On march 13 2006. Me and my family took my grandma to the hospital bcz she was having shortness of breath. The Docs all seen her and were amazed how well she was doing. So they were gonna put some fluids in her , and send her home after that. Well all the family took turns to go in and see her bcz it was only one at a time in the room. MY moms, then my aunt, then my cuzzin went in ti see her. Then I go in , and as I am walking in, I thought she was looking up at something on the ceiling. As I walk closer I hear her gasping for air, and her eyes were actually rolling to the back of her head. I grab her arm and say Im here grandma, NO RESPONSE, just gasping. I scream for the nurse and they look at the monitors and the monitors were fine, then they look at her and say OH GOD please go get your mom! I ran to tell the family to come in, and as I walk back to the room I see them trying to bring her back to life. That day was my deceased grandpas B_DAY & their anniversary.

I have read many books on the afterlife and I am a firm believer. I'm positive your grandmother picked the day to pass on to the other side...it's a very special day, isn't it? Don't be sad, just smile and be happy for all the moments you have had together. I lost my 18-year-old brother three years ago...but I am sure he is watching over me and waiting for me when the time comes. Bless you.

Wow you just brought up a question I have always pondered. My grandfather was in the hospital for breathing problems, When I went in the room to see him he told me thought he was going home and he clenched my hand I really didn't get it at the time, Twenty minutes after I left he died. I didn't find out until the next day when I came back to the hospital and looked in his room the bed was empty. A nurse approached me and told me he had past. It was the saddest day of my life. When he said he was going home I guess he was going to a different home my grandmother had past 2 years prior and they had been married for 50 years. Bless you

Ohhh, that's so sad! I almost kinda cried when I read that. Makes you think, doesn't it?
We lost our mother 2 years ago to cancer. We were with her in the hospital when she passed on. She didn't seem to want to leave, she fought so hard. My father and brother were predeceased and I told her that they were both waiting for her, the breath she took right after I said that was her last. We all miss her so. She raised all 5 of us kids on her own, widowed at 39 yrs.

You never know, but people of age will do things with previous thought. They have lived their lives and do not worry about stupid things like we do and when they are at peace with themselves, they may just decide it's time to let go. Maybe being it was a treasured date for her she chose that time as a memorial. Sorry about your loss, but always remember the good times and smile. This is what she would want from you. her pleasant memories in your mind. God Bless!!
