Do you think that they emit dangerous chemicals? Do you think we should stop it or change it?

as in most things, it depends

incineration, if done properly, is a pretty good way to get rid of potentially dangerous wastes

often the alternatives have more risk

there are many medical waste that could have harmful pathogens (germs) that you might not want to just land fill

and recycling is usually not possible with medical wastes

so, in most cases, incineration seems to be the best option
if incinerators are designed and operated properly they will have satisfactorily low emissions

incinerators can destroy harmful bio and chemical hazards burning them up into non-toxic combustion products

no system is 100% emission free but good incinerators are probably the best technique out there at this time

OUR health? If you don't know which to use, I don't want you making decisions on my behalf.
It probably does emit dangerous chemicals, but what is the alternative? This is a question of trade-offs, not a question of a perfect world.

Not as bad as throwing them on the ground somewhere (such as a dump), where others may be exposed to them.
