Well you hit the nail on the head. She is in a bad mood. There is a connection. Obviously there is something that she is angry about. You have to search out and read her body language as you go about your daily activities. Are you talking enough to her? Do you praise her? Does anybody laugh at her? (They hate to be laughed at). If you wish to keep her and I assume that you do, it has to be a group experiment, a team effort to reach her and make her feel loved and comfortable. Is there a particular time of the day she is guilty of these activities? Is it when you are home or when you are out? These factors have to be weighed together to come up with the best solutions. Good luck. It is an issue but a reparable one, with patience. By the way, I understand the dilemma that you are going through. Their urine is caustic and destroys everything.

The best and easiest way to stop a maladaptive and possibly destructive behavior is to completely remove the temptation from whoever you want to re adapt to their surroundings. Where this is not possible you will want to do some training. This is a repetitive and time consuming effort. There are places on the net and resources in the library that can help you with behavior modification training to do but in a nutshell you have to ignore the maladaptive behavior and do lots of positive praising and awards for the pet over and over again. This has to be done the same over and over again. Some animals pick up on this quicker than others and at times you will just feel like wringing little mittens neck but the pet will pick up on this frustration and it will be some sort of attention. Your PET yearns for attention and will do any thing to get attention. (Positive or negative). Scolding will only be perceived as attn.

HOW TO STOP AN AGRY FEMALE CAT FROM PEEING ON YOUR STUFF ....
1. Never ever ever ever ever make your cat mad.
2. Keep all of your stuff at a friend's house.
3. Scotchguard everything you own, right now (except the cat)
4. Put open cans of tuna fish all over your personal items.

Keep the coats and shirts out of her reach, but the mattress is not going to be safe. Try giving her something to pee on like a sheet. I have a cat who is scared to death of coming out of my parents' closet and use the litter box. She has her own litter box and some sheets on the floor because she does not always use her personal commode.

I would not allow her in your room or around your coats and things. Make sure the litter box is clean even wash it out real well and fill it with fresh litter. Also if this only happens once in a while then yeah you made her mad but if it is every day maybe the vet needs a visit.

Hang up your shirts and coats.
Spray your mattress with cat repellent found in pet stores, or close your door. Cats don't like tin foil, put that on your bed, or put cans with pennies in it. They don't like the noise.
Find out if you cat is really mad or if it has a medical problem. Urinating outside the litter box is a sign of that. Urinary tract infection or something.
Make sure the litter box is really clean, scoop it once or twice a day, empty it completely weekly or bi-weekly.
