Is it temporary green or has it been green nonstop for days now. If its temp. green then its not green your notciing its more of a bluish-green if I'm correct. and its her tendoins veins etc. or maybe it was someting she ate..
Now the scary part if its perm. green then you need to of course take her to the doc, but make sure she has feeling in her thumb no pulse or swollen areas anywhere around the potentially affected area, and keep it out of her mouth.
I pity the fool with bad front teeth cuz they sucked their thumb.

you should ask her doctor, my son is a thumb sucker, (he's 2) and that has never happened to him. It just looks soggy.

LOL.When I was little it happened to me too I have no idea what it is It will go away if she just stops sucking it for like a week

Yes, she really needs to be seen by her pediatrician. Green on any body part is not normal.

It could be just bruising...but I would make an appointment to see the doctor. There are countless other things it could be.
