Lake Ontario/Niagara River
Lower river boaters and shore casters keep on slammin' salmon.

"The salmon run is just about peaking at its prime," said Capt. Frank Campbell as a client got a hit from the last of a limit of kings Wednesday morning.

Campbell has been drifting skein along Devil's Hole drifts for most the action, with Kwikfish working when winds pick up and drifts move faster.

Upper river bass action has been spectacular. The 30th Annual Fish Odyssey ended Sunday with both the Grand Prize and Bass Division winners taken at Thompson's Hole in the upper river.
