First piece of advise, don't "give" anyone your heart at all. They need to deserve and earn it. Beware of the ones that don't seem to be interested in earning it, along with your trust. The ones that are worth it are going to be the ones that give a damn about taking the time to get you to trust them and open up to them again.

First how long have u been wit the person u wanna give your heart to. If u been together for a while then just wait another week or two to see how he gone act and if he acts the same way then go for it cuz "u never know what u lost till its gone" give him a chance let the past go this is NOW and NOT BEFORE.

It takes time. Give yourself plenty of time. This happened to me too. I was single and not interested in anyone for 2 years or so. I never thought I would ever let it happen again. Well it did and I'm still with him. It is a scary thing but time will tell. Just give yourself plenty of time to heal. Good luck!

you just simply let go, not everyone will be like the one in the past honestly some will be better some will be worse but you have to take that chance and it might be the best thing youve ever done but you have to at least try.

Honey, be confident in who you are and your abilty to make good decisions now. What's done is past & you only learn from it, not dwell on it. You can't change it, but you can shape your future by seeing what you did in the past and how you reacted, and adjust if needed. Good luck!
