He understands its dangerous and last night me my mom and my girl were telling him things will be better. His girl plays mind games with him and when he is at her house i thinks thats where he gets the valum and they let him drink there should i talk to his mom because she likes me and i want her to know she needs to give him the help he needs.

This is for punky i wish he had no connections to weed or booze hes the one with the id i don't drink and i think the weed is the last of his problems. Im worried about the drinking and valum. Weed is the least of his worries.

There is no reason to be taking 110mg of valium. That would knock almost anyone out cold for the night. He must have been high on coke and was trying to calm down by drinking and taking the valium. He must have had an upper or be taking way too much valium lately and built up a tolerance. An average Joe cant take that much by itself let alone some alchohol without falling asleep 30 minutes later. He has a drug problem. I would crack open a beer with him and tell him that he needs to slow down. Sometimes it just takes a friend looking in from the outstide to make someone realize how bad they are gettin.

The weed is not the least of his problems it is the start of his problems. He needs to stop all drugs and drinking, but he needs to decide that for himself. If you want to be a good friend you will stop smoking and drinking with him. Let him know that it is not ok for him to be doing these things. He needs to learn healthier ways of dealing with his problems. Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous can help him to do that. The catch is that he has to want to stop.

First, go to him directly. Sit him down and say listen man, you're on a one way street to hell, you need to clean up. Tell him she's not worth all this crap he's doing to himself. You're there for him if he needs to talk but you won't sit idly by and watch him kill himself. If that doesn't work, go to his mom. If you don't get help there, and if he's still in school, go to the school counselor. They will keep it anonymous for you. But you can't sit by and do nothing. He needs you and don't be afraid he'll get mad, he will in the beginning but when its over, he'll realize you were there for him all along.

There really isn't much you can do. He has to want this for himself. You can be a loving supportive friend, but as long as you are enabling him with booze and weed, you are not helping in any way.

Mixing drugs is soooo dangerous!!! If he's going to do pills, and blow, that's one things, but mixing nerve pills and alcohol can be deadly. I have lost three friends in the past year due to Oxy Contin overdose and I would hate to see you lose your friend. Let him know that you're there to listen to him if he wants to talk, and let him know how dangerous mixing drugs can be.
