First, you need to define what you mean when you say "Jews". There are at least two ways to define a Jew, by heritage or by religion. Not all people descending from the original tribes of Israel chose to remain adherents of Judaism. Not all people who worship in sinagogues descend from the original tribes of Israel.
Around 1000, Judaism was a full-blown world religion, with native (rather than descending from the original tribes of Israel) followers spread from Ethiopia to Crimea and from Spain to Khazaria. The last Ethiopian Jews (about 20,000 of them) were airlifted to Israel in 1980s. Small Karaite populations still exist in Ukraine and Lithuania.

They came from present-day Israel.
They were driven out by the Muslims - led by the Ottoman Empire, a Turkish kingdom.
They were not allowed to live in their own ancestral and historic homeland due to aggressive Islamic expansion.
Jews were also driven out of present-day Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Egypt and Syria.
Christians, too.
Very few Jews and Christians now in Arab lands though they used to be a lot more populous there (and co-existed with Arabs when the Arabs were pagans), more than a thousand years ago.
Islam was founded only 1400 years ago and has sought to drive out people following other religions wherever it has invaded.

The migration/immigration of the Jewish tribes is long and complicated. We first must research the 3 names of Hebrew, Israelite, and Jews. In ancient times, the Jewish people migrated throughout the middle-east and a large percentage settled in the Babylon area until their exile around 586 B.C. To answer your question about how they got to Europe and mixed with the Europeans is first recorded in 1550 in which the Jewish people lived in Holland, Spain, England, Germany, and Russia. Although they settled in small tribes, anti-Semitic became active in the time of Frederick the Great of Prussia who taxed Jews threefold, and of course this anti-Semitic attitude found its place with the Jews in Russia. Most Jews migrated into France, and Austria, with a small number allowed to migrate to Portugal. They were of course murdered and forced into concentration camps during the Nazi era of Germany. After WWII, millions of Jews settled in the USA and South America.
Great question.........long complicated history. Hope this helps.

They came from the Middle east through Russia. People migrated back then. Many of Jewish people were money handlers, which many in society felt was dirty. Many Jews represented many of the ruling class in collecting rents and what have you. These feelings of bitterness were pushed back onto the Jews not the landlords. They were ostracized because of their religious beliefs so they were in communities where they could be with their own.

Presumably they originally came from Isreal, and before that, along with the rest of us, from Africa.
Well, they were in Jeruselum before Muslim was a religion, as I understand it, whatever you want to call the land where Jeruselum is. And we all did come from Africa, I believe, according to current scientific theory, so how much further back do I have to go?
I am not trying to insult you, but I truly don't understand why you are so hung up on Jews.

When Rome destroyed the 2nd Holy Temple in 70AD, they also forced the Jews to leave. They were dispersed to various places in the Roman empire most notably Spain and France. Jews in France migrated to other places in Europe.
