Okay i met this guy threw a guy friend of mine. He was very shy at first but i somehow got him to open up to me. And he is very sweet and respectful. And i think i am starting to have feelings for him. We became friends but heres the thing. I just found out im the only girl in his life and he has never had a girl friend. so my question is what should i do and is it wierd for an 19 year old to not have any other lady friends. {{im 18}} thanx

He may have never had a serious girlfriend before but don't always believe he doesn't have other "girls" in his life. Even gays (as everyone seems to think) have girl friends. Some men feel the need to hide this fact of having girl friends because they feel you may be jealous or something. There are other reasons as well for them to hide stuff like that...and I'm not saying he's "lying" to you, but trust me, you aren't the only girl in his life.

i think you should go out with him. my friend for ex. was in the same shoes that you are in. she met this guy who was nice and so forth and then they start dating and she finds out that she is his first gf. she was okay with it since he had other things to do and yes he is straight and not gay but the girls he met were not his type until my friend came along. i think that maybe he met some girls who were not what he was looking for and it is not that he gave up but rather that he would not have gone out with someone just for the sake of going out. i think that you should think if you really like him and just take a chance!

just because he's too shy to interact socially with females does not make him gay.
now, there are some terribly shy at first people, that it's actually really difficult for them to relate to others , so i would say just give him a hand to enlarge his self-confidence, by being a real friend. Maybe (maybe) you would be able to take it far from there.

I don't think it's weird. Maybe he has his reasons like - as you said - his shyness. Just give him a chance; he could be sweeter than a guy his age who's been with 10 girls before you. Good luck!

Maybe he doesn't feel right around alot of girls, that's probably why he doesn't have any "girl"friends. You're the one who got him to open up, maybe no other girl has. Just take it slow or ask him why.

some ppl is just too shy when it comes to facing with gal. i guess you r lucky bcz you finally get the chance to meet the last guy on earth who act like that. lucky him bcz he meet you and i think you both are goin to be ok. if you think you r not ready to be his gf its ok, just make it slow and step by step.
